The characters are a real treat, with unique personalities that really immerse you in their world. The story is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, mixing in sadness, humor, and intrigue. That being said, Eternights still stands out. Keep in mind, it's an indie game, so it won't reach the scale of titles from giants like Atlus or Square Enix. The creator drew inspiration from Persona 5 and began as a solo developer. Before getting into Eternights, understanding its background helps set expectations.
